The First Annual Ceremony for the Every Woman TV's Global Awards took place on the 16th of December in the Gresham Hotel in Dublin after it was cancelled due to the Dublin riots that occurred on November 23 in the area surrounding the venue and affected a number of local businesses and caused damage to properties and shortage of public transport. However, we managed to host our overseas guests to a small ceremony in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dublin. Also, what we'd happily like to describe as mini-cere took place in the Dail (Irish Parliament) as we were pleasantly received by Senator Emer Currie who was a recipient of our prestigious Female Senator of the year!   

Following that unfortunate incident, the event was postponed to hold 3 weeks later,  when it eventually held and it was a beautiful ceremony successfully held with our mega Book Launch on the 16th of December with most invited guests and awards recipients in attendance. (see photos below).
